Bilingual
Being bilingual in Spanish and English allows me to offer therapy that honors the richness of language and culture. Language is deeply tied to how we express our emotions, form connections, and make meaning of our experiences.
For Spanish-speaking clients — whether Spanish is your first language or part of your heritage — being able to speak freely in therapy without having to "translate" your feelings creates deeper understanding, trust, and healing.
I am also able to navigate the cultural nuances, family dynamics, and intergenerational experiences that are often part of the healing process for Latinx, Hispanic, and immigrant communities. Whether we work primarily in Spanish, English, or a mix of both (Spanglish!), my goal is to meet you exactly where you are, honoring all parts of your identity.
Therapy in your preferred language can foster stronger communication, build comfort more quickly, and help you feel truly seen and supported.

DBT-Informed
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based form of therapy designed to help people manage overwhelming emotions, build healthier relationships, and develop coping skills for life's challenges. Originally created to support individuals with intense emotions or borderline personality disorder, DBT is now widely used to treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and difficulties with emotional regulation.
DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, helping you stay grounded in the present moment while working toward positive change. In therapy, we focus on building skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
If you find yourself feeling "stuck," reacting strongly to situations, struggling with relationships, or battling intense stress, DBT offers practical tools to help you regain balance, manage your emotions, and move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Neurodiversity Affirming
I offer a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, which means I celebrate and respect the full range of neurological differences — including ADHD, autism, learning differences, and more — as natural variations of the human experience, not problems to "fix."
In our work together, I honor your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. Instead of focusing on changing who you are, therapy will support you in building skills, self-understanding, and strategies that align with your strengths and needs.
Whether you're newly exploring your neurodivergent identity or have known for years, my goal is to create a validating, empowering, and inclusive space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Together, we can focus on self-acceptance, resilience, and thriving — not just surviving

Trauma-Informed
Trauma-informed care is an approach to therapy that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes creating a safe, empowering space for healing. Being trauma-informed means understanding how past experiences — such as abuse, violence, discrimination, or loss — can affect a person’s emotions, behaviors, and relationships today.
In my practice, trauma-informed therapy focuses on safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and respect for your unique cultural and personal experiences. Instead of asking, "What’s wrong with you?" we ask, "What happened to you?" — shifting the focus from blame to understanding.
Whether you're healing from recent trauma or navigating the effects of long-standing experiences, I work alongside you at your pace, honoring your strengths and supporting your journey toward resilience, empowerment, and growth.

Sexual Abuse Recovery
Healing from sexual abuse is a deeply personal and courageous journey. I offer a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where survivors can process their experiences at their own pace. Using approaches like CBT, DBT, and somatic awareness, we focus on rebuilding trust, restoring a sense of safety, and reclaiming your voice and power.
I work with survivors of all backgrounds, including individuals from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities, who may also be navigating cultural or intergenerational trauma. Together, we can gently explore the impacts of trauma, strengthen your coping tools, and create a path toward resilience, empowerment, and self-compassion.
Healing is not about forgetting — it’s about reclaiming your life. You don’t have to walk this path alone.

Intergenerational Trauma
Description goes hereIntergenerational trauma refers to the patterns of pain, fear, or emotional wounds that can be passed down through families over time. These patterns often show up in ways we might not immediately recognize — in our relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, or even the ways we react to stress. Healing this kind of deep-rooted trauma requires compassion, patience, and a space where all parts of you are welcome.
Through therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, I help clients explore and heal the different "parts" of themselves — including the parts that may be carrying pain from previous generations. IFS allows us to approach your inner world with curiosity and care, rather than judgment.
Together, we work to build a trusting relationship with these parts, helping you release inherited burdens, develop self-leadership, and create new cycles of healing for yourself and future generations.
You are not alone in carrying these experiences — and you don’t have to carry them forever. Healing is possible, and it starts with honoring the full story of where you come from and who you are becoming.
